This special performance will also feature a collaboration with the talented Hubbard High School Choir, adding rich vocal harmonies to the beloved soundtrack that has become a seasonal favorite for generations.
Originally from Toronto, jazz pianist Chris White is a dynamic performer, composer, and educator recognized for his albums Young at Heart and Tributaries. A versatile musician, Chris has appeared at top venues including the Chicago Jazz Festival, The Green Mill, Jazz Showcase, Catalina Jazz Club, and Feinstein’s/54 Below in NYC. He is a fixture in the Chicago jazz scene and a respected educator at Lake Forest College, North Park University, and North Central College.
With a Doctorate in Jazz Performance and a master’s from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, Chris has studied with jazz legends like Barry Harris, Joanne Brackeen, and Hal Galper. His trio’s elegant touch and improvisational flair perfectly capture the nostalgic charm and swing of Guaraldi’s classic score.
